Who We Are

Women in Aquatic Science and Management Network (WASMaN) is a non-profit association established to enhance the active participation of women in aquatic science and management, and to promote inclusive, equitable, and sustainable aquatic resource management and conservation.

Why WASMaN Was Established

Women play critical roles in aquatic resource use, conservation, and community livelihoods. However, systemic barriers continue to limit their participation in research, innovation, and policy spaces.
